The Future of Affordable Housing is Here

The Menard County Housing Authority is the largest manager of rental properties in Menard County. MCHA owns and/or manages 265 rental units throughout the county, ranging from one-bedroom apartments to four-bedroom single-family homes.

Properties

MCHA owns and manages 177 units of public housing throughout the county. Units sizes range from 1-4-bedrooms. Units styles range from high-rise apartments to detached single-family units. Many units include paid utilities.

Public Housing

County Estates is the newest addition to affordable housing in Menard County. County Estates is comprised of 68 rental units located in the communities of Petersburg, Athens, and Greenview. Most of the units are single-family homes with attached 2-car garage. Units range in size from 2-4 bedrooms. There are also handicapped-accessible units available.

County Estates

Prairie Place was established in 2002 and is comprised of 20 rental units located in the communities of Athens and Petersburg. All units are single-family homes with attached 1-car garage.
